Dr. Abrams, D.O. graduated from Boston University, Cum Laude, with a Degree in Psychology. He received his Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Abrams, D.O. is a former Clinical Associate of Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University. He completed a 3 year dermatology residency in Pennsylvania. Dr. Abrams, D.O. moved to Sarasota from Pennsylvania and has been practicing dermatology since 1994.
Sheryl Wilson, ARNP-C 
Sheryl Wilson, ARNP-C is a licensed Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in internal medicine ranging from Cardiology to Nephrology. She is certified with an Associate Degree in Nursing, and a Masters Degree of Science in Nursing. She is currently pursuing another Master Degree in Nursing Education. Sheryl is certified in our IPL Photorejuvenation, VBeam Laser Treatments, and Laser Hair Removal Treatments.
Sheryl Wilson, ARNP-C is board certified by the Florida Board of Nursing and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Sheryl Wilson, ARNP-C is active in the community. She is a member of the Manatee Council of Nurse practitioners, the Sarasota Chapter of Nurse Practitioners, Florida Nurse Practitioner Network and the ANA. Sheryl Wilson, ARNP-C grew up in Venice, Florida. She now lives in Sarasota with her husband and her 17 year old son. She enjoys the outdoors, animals, working out and spending time with her family.
Catherine Deans, Medical Licensed Esthetician 
Catherine Deans, L.E is a member of the Society of Dermatology and SkinCare Specialists. Her background has been in the medical field working closely with plastic and reconstructive surgeons for several years. She is a trusted skin care expert who has been helping men, women and teens of all ages attain glowing, beautiful skin. She is highly experienced in identification, correction and maintenance of sun-damaged, hyper-pigmented, aging and problem skins.
Catherine will analyze your skin, recommend a skin care routine and products based on your specific skin needs. Catherine has expertise in facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning and microdermabrasion. She can also recommend the best results achievable with all injectables including Botox ©, Juvederm ©, Dysport ©, Restylane © and Radiesse © as well as other non-invasive procedures such as IPL ™, eMatrix™, Facial Rejuvenation and laser treatments.

Dana Widener, MA.HT.is a certified Medical Assistant and Histotech. She joined our team at Abrams Dermatology in July 2002. Dana moved from New Jersey to Florida in 1993. She has worked in the medical field since 1996.
Dana loves to spend time with her husband Bryan and their son Christian.
Matt Cohen, MA.HT.ST. Medical Assistant/Histotech/Surgical Tech
Matt Cohen, MA.HT.ST joined Abrams Dermatology's team in August, 2009. He is a certified Medical Assistant, Histotech and Surgical Technologist. Matt Cohen was raised in Ohio. He moved to Florida in 2002 and lives in Sarasota with his wife and daughter since 2009.
His hobbies include any sports, movies, as well as anything involving his family.
